Rehabilitation Services

Our experienced rehabilitation team comprised of registered physical, occupational, and speech therapists are committed to providing outstanding results and excellent quality of care. Licensed therapists work closely with each resident, physician, and our specialized nursing staff to empower residents through individualized programs to reach goals of increased independence and ability. A full array of rehabilitation services and equipment are offered in a newly renovated area. Resident families are also encouraged to participate in therapy sessions, caregiver education, and training.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists treat individuals with medical problems and other health related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Physical therapy assists healing after illness, injury, or surgery. Physical therapy helps our residents enhance mobility and quality of life by improving strength and balance, reducing pain, and restoring function and flexibility.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy assists the resident to restore and rehabilitate their lives to gain independence. The therapy helps the resident perform activities of daily living independently.

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency.

Restorative Therapy and Wellness Program

Restorative Therapy and Wellness Program

Individualized therapeutic exercise programs are designed for each resident to improve flexibility and strength. Our goal is to improve function and independence of each resident while respecting his/her dignity.

Electrical Stimulation Therapy

Electrical Stimulation Therapy

Dysphagia is a medical condition in which an individual experiences difficulty in swallowing.  This condition is often the result of a stroke or radiation therapy.  It is also common in Parkinson’s, dementia, multiple Sclerosis, and elderly patients.

Electrical stimulation therapy has proven to be the most effective treatment of dysphagia.  Electrical current is used to stimulate key muscles while the patient practices swallowing.  The result is greatly improved swallowing function through muscle re-education.  eSwallow USA is revolutionizing Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) therapy for the treatment of dysphagia.

Our Speech-Language Pathologists are certified in eSwallow technology for the treatment and management of dysphagia.
